The Banded Stilts etching, now completed ,setting out in the world .There are sea charts, of Freycinet’s showing the nineteenth century drawings of the Kangaroo Island coastline.I have drawn these with the birds and grasses of the sea meadows.

The Banded Stilts drawings,preparing the red/yellow layer & the key plates.After many proofs,many sheets of paper later,it came together.Four hours after the Waterhouse Natural History prize entry time closed.But 365 days early for next year.

Another use for etchings.The Western cove Black glossy cockies were printed onto cloth.Today I sewed them into paint box covers.Very Belated birthday presents.
